Horrors!
I haven’t told you about my very own guild’s quilt show
since Newsletter 13!! Shame on me. So here is the info. This is a new location and we are very excited
about the extra room to spread out.
Look for me, I’ll have a “ASK ME ABOUT FQN” pin on.
Central Florida Quilters Guild’s Quilt Show, QUILT MAGIC
2000, “Colorful Beginnings” will be held on January 22 and 23, 2000. Saturday hours: 9-5, Sunday 11-5. Admission is $5
Our NEW location is the Central Florida Fairgrounds at 4603
W. Colonial Drive, Orlando.
This is a Judged Show, with over $2500 in Prizes. Also, Teddy Pruett, AQS Certified Appraiser,
Vendor Mall, Boutique, Door Prizes, Silent Auction of Miniature Quilts,
Exhibition Quilts, Demonstrations, etc.

The next SSQA meeting will be April 7-8 in Green Cove
Springs. The summer
SSQA meeting will be June 9-10 in Gainesville. Still waiting
on the
National Champion FSU Seminoles to release their 2000 fall
schedule before
determining dates for the annual meeting in Tallahassee,
some weekend in
September. Information on all meetings will be snail-mailed
to SSQA members
via newsletter or special mailings. Non-members may contact
Betty Slaughter
at mpharmacy@aol.com for membership information. Non-members
are welcome to
SSQA meetings; watch this space for specific meeting
details.

The Paducah trip is now open to anyone interested in joining
us on this fabulous trip.
April 12 - 17, 2000. Wed. - Mon
Cost Includes: Round trip on a Charter bus, 5 nights with
breakfast,taxes, bus drivers room and gratuity.
Baggage handling at "The Drury Suites"
Prices:
2 in a room $399.00;
3 in a room $299.00; 4 in a room
$249.00, per person.
(Note: These prices are based on minimum of 50 people)
Cancellation insurance is available on individual basis.
