Quilting Friends,

Back last fall I made an Escher Cubed quilt for my sister.  So then she was dragging all her PT clients into her bedroom to behold her new quilt, and so she finally asked if I could make a smaller version for her therapy room.  And I did.  I’m pretty happy with it!

You may not know that the Calendar page on the website is a quick way to view upcoming events all over the state.  Give it a look-see.
Happy Quilting,
      Mary-Jeanine
PS: I’d love to hear from you, so drop me a line sometime.

VIRTUAL happenings at Suncoast Quilting Circle

Circular Patchwork with Alberta Dalke – Wednesday 5th May 10am EDT
https://suncoastquiltingcircle.org/event-4123481
The basic design of this quilt is that of a mock cathedral window. The front fabric forms the window, which is framed when the back fabric is folded to the front side of the quilt. This makes it reversible with each side giving a different look. The lecture includes tips for how to make the quilt, different options as well as quilting tips.

What Makes a Quilt Modern? with Carole Lyles Shaw – the Myths and the Magic – Monday 17th May 7pm EDT
https://suncoastquiltingcircle.org/event-4285384
Carole is a nationally recognized modern quilt designer, author and workshop teacher who has been an active
member of the quilt and fiber art community for over twenty years. Zoom with us as she discusses minimalism and maximalism (trends in modern quilting), myth busters, trunk show and resources.
If you aren’t familiar with Carole’s work, please check out her website: CaroleLylesShaw.com! Don't miss this opportunity to hear her speak and see her trunk show.

Summer Shop-Hop with Paula Hagan from Sew Modern Chicky and Sue Poser from Grubers – Wednesday 2nd June 10am EDT
