Friends,
Still on vacay! Here we are, recreating a
memory from 1990: we rented a tandem bike on Toronto Island to explore. 33 years ago there
were no crowds for a Chinese Dragon Boat Race Festival, but we managed to find
some empty corners and paths to ride and enjoy a smoke-free day. Yes, its
been smoky here in Canada and the north Midwest, but not every day. I’ve taken to call the good days our ‘Blue
Sky Days’, and I will never take them for granted again!

QUILT FEST JAX NEWS
For the first time, the Jacksonville Quiltfest
tickets are now available through Ticketmaster. Sometimes the ticket
lines are too long, so getting your ticket in advance saves time. The
Jacksonville Quiltfest is Thursday, Friday, and
Saturday, Sept. 14-16. Parking will be free for attendees because Quiltfest has paid for it. (Nothing is “free”, really).
Also, we are offering a 10% discount for pre-purchased
groups of 20 or more. So tickets will be $13.50
