Florida Quilt Network - Newsletter #54

July 11, 2002

Quilting Friends,

I recently returned from two very relaxing weeks of vacation with my family.  I managed to hit 3 fabric stores (including Mary Jo’s), so I’m feeling “stocked up”.  Tomorrow begins a 4 week quilting lesson with four little neighborhood girls.  We’re going to make some Jewel Box quilts.  Can’t wait!   I’ll keep you posted.

Found a couple of great websites:

http://www.quiltshops.com/ allows you to search for fabric from 99 different online quilt stores.  I was able to find a particular fabric for one of my students that was no longer available locally.  Fabric is displayed with “thumbnail” pictures. Very handy.

http://fabricblowout.com/ has some very interesting novelty prints that you may be needing for that I-Spy or Bug Jar quilt.
