Don’t you love it when a great idea comes out of the blue…in
the shower, on the treadmill, just before you go to sleep? Well anyway, I came up with one: I’m going
to start a new “club”, I think I’ll call it my “Frequent Contributor’s Club”
(FCC) or my “Heads Up Club” for short.
This will be for all of you who might want a reminder that a newsletter
will be published soon. Just in case
you need to submit a timely item; I don’t want miss anyone.
So if you’d like a head’s up about 48 hours before I send
out my newsletter, send an email to FCC@FloridaQuiltNetwork.com
and I’ll add you to this list.
I hope you came out the other side of Hurricane Jeanne
intact. I guess Charley had taken down
everything around here that wanted to come down, because my neighborhood only
lost a couple of dozen trees. As
opposed to a couple of hundred during Charley.
Another bit of news from FQN…my dear sweet husband gave me a
website overhaul for an anniversary gift.

NANCY PRINCE WORKSHOP IN ORLANDO
Nancy Prince will be teaching a workshop for Central Florida Quilter’s Guild on October 23, 2004. In this workshop, titled “Autumn in the Country,” you will learn to thread paint designs such as fall flowers, pumpkins and trees. The location of the workshop will be Christ Episcopal Church in Longwood. It will run from 9:00am to 3:00pm. The cost is $25 for members and $35 for non-members. QUILT SHOW IN VENICE
The Bay Indies Quilt
Club presents "The Seven-Year Stitch" on Saturday, February 12, 2005,
from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Indies Hall located at 950 Ridgewood Ave.,
Venice, FL 34285. This is the first show in seven years for
the club, hence the interesting name.
There will be a
beautiful raffle quilt and boutique items made by members of the club. Admission is $3.00. For more information, please call

products and techniques and sharing new exciting stuff. I have also picked up two more lines of
patterns and will bring samples and supplies.
November 6th we're going to have a "What's your Bag?" class
