Florida Quilt Network - Newsletter #83

www.FloridaQuiltNetwork.com

February 1st, 2005

Quilting Friends,

Lots and lots of new news to share with you this month.  This is “high season” for quilt show and exhibits, quilters, so get out there and get inspired!

Did you know that the Punta Gorda quilt show WILL go on?  They had to move their venue due to extensive Hurricane Charley damage, but they hope to see you on Monday and Tuesday (Feb 7 & 8).   Also, they are taking donations of fabric for quilts they make for veterans and babies.   See below for full info.

I had a request for information on any Florida Long Arm Machine Quilters who teach.  If you hold classes on Long Arms, please let me know so I can spread the word.  Or if there is another website out there that compiles this info by state, that would be useful as well.

Well, I’ve decided to travel to Paducah again this year with two good friends.  Will I see you there?

As always, if you think you’re missing out on a newsletter, check the website for the latest updates: www.FloridaQuiltNetwork.com.

Send your email address updates to me at mji@ibarguen.org
