Beer Bread           

    from the kitchen of Mary-Jeanine Ibarguen

 

3 cups self-rising flour

-or- almost 3 cups all-purpose flour with 1 tsp salt & 1 TBSP baking powder

1/3 cup sugar

12 oz warm beer

 

Mix quickly, pour into greased loaf pan and immediately bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Pour over the top 1/2 stick of butter, melted. Bake 15 minutes more.

 

Try to keep your grubby hands off it until the guests come!
