Florida Quilt Network - Newsletter #3

January 27, 1999

This is great...keep this information flowing!  I hope everyone is enjoying this as much as I am.  Don't forget to share this info with your newsletter editor...better yet, sign them up!

1) And now, a request.  If and when you send me information, it would be great if it contains the following information, at the minimum.  Less work for me and faster turn-around time for you:

- Event Name

- Teacher's name, web site and/or reference material if this is a class

- Sponsoring Guild's name and Town of Event

- Date(s) and Time(s) of event

- Cost and availability to non-members (i.e. date we can start signing up)

- Contact name, email and phone number

- Dates teacher is available to other guilds, if applicable, with her phone #

Simply check this list when sending any information to me.

2) Also, program chairs: please be thinking LONG TERM... Everyone would benefit from knowing who you have scheduled in 6 to 12 months.  Then we could do some real sharing of national teachers.  Lets don't want till the last minute...you have a voice now, so use it!  <grin>  And I'm ready to schedule out for my guild for the next two years.  So if you're interested in sharing teachers, lets talk!

3) Another note: several newsletter recipients have requested a newsletter without formatting, as my formatting codes aren't read properly by some email programs.  If you are having a problem reading the newsletter, drop me a line and let me know you DON"T want formatting in you e-newsletter.
