I was looking
through my photos to show you what I’ve finished
lately, but just about everything is still in progress. I should have some good pics next month! Here’s a process
photo from this afternoon, though. I have
the little tablerunner (on the left) in my Etsy Shop, and someone
asked if I could make it again as a 10 foot tablerunner
(!). Yes, yes I
can. My little apartment is just big
enough, apparently. This is just the
rough layout, I have a ways to go on this.

is more encouragement from Lois to quilt guilds to get going on Zoom meetings:
Well, Ocean Waves
Quilters seem to be making lemon aid from the rinds!!! A bitter sweet event
for the world.
The one good
thing about this dilemma we are in is that we have become Zooming Quilters.
Meeting weekly for
chit chats, and project updates. To our active Rookies gaining new members
because of Zoom.To allowing our Snowbird members and
those who have moved from the west coast of Florida, the Villages, to Michigan,
Kansas, Texas & Hawaii, the ability to still be part of our monthly
group. We continue to have our monthly meetings, with classes, raffle
drawing, we welcome visitors & teachers and best of all, our Show and Help
continues as always!!!! So we grab our glass of
sweet/tart lemon aid, sit back and enjoy our quilting friends in Zoom world!!

a quick way to view upcoming events all over the state. Give it a look-see.

Country Road Quilters 2020 quilt show has been postponed until November 5 - 6, 2021. But we are still giving away our 2020 opportunity quilt in November 2020.

SARASOTA QUILT SHOW CANCELLED - OPPORTUNITY QUILT STILL
HAPPENING!!
Friendship Knot Quilters’ Guild Quilt Show in
Sarasota has been cancelled for March 12-13, 2021.
But the Opportunity Quilt is still happening!
The Friendship Knot Quilters’ Guild 2021 Quilt Show has been cancelled and will return March 2023.
We are, however, still giving away our 2021 Opportunity Quilt on March 13, 2021.
Tickets can now be purchased on our website through PayPal or by mail to FKQG, P.O. Box 376, Osprey, FL 34229-0376.
Cost is 6 tickets for $5 or larger options

QUILT SHOW IN PUNTA GORDA
Peace River Quilter’s Guild (Punta Gorda) is currently scheduled to have its 16th Biennial Peace River Quilt Festival “Quilts in the Limelight” event at the
Charlotte Harbor Event Center (75 Taylor, Punta Gorda, FL) on Friday, February 19, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, February 20, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
We are a large guild with about 340 members; I believe our show is one of the largest in Florida for a single guild. I am the contact person for advertising this show.
