I saw this panel on Instagram back in the spring and absolutely fell in love with it. I immediately knew it would be perfect as a wedding gift for my niece. Well, her bridal shower was this past weekend, and you know how much fun it is to hear all the ooohs and aaahs at a bridal shower! It’s actually a huge fabric panel of a watercolor print, and then I used chenille-it bias strips to embellish the panel before I quilted, bound and washed. So cuddly and beautiful! Kits are available here.

QUILT SHOW IN OCALA

We’ve had three years to prepare and now it’s finally happening!

Country Road Quilters 2021 quilt show will take place November 5 - 6, 2021 from 9am-4pm at Circle Square Cultural Center, 8395 SW 80th St., Ocala, FL, 34481.

This year is our 35th Anniversary and we have big plans for the best show ever!

Over 200 quilts will be on display. Lots of vendors. A large Shoppe with hand made items which are perfect for the holidays and for gifts. Robin Koehler will be appraising quilts. Also, challenge quilts, raffle baskets and door prizes.

Admission is $8. Contact us at our website for a discount for buses.

Tickets for our opportunity quilt can now be purchased on our website through PayPal or by mail to our PO Box. Cost is 6 tickets for $5, 12 for $10 or 18 for $15.

QUILT SHOW IN LAKE COUNTY

Lake County Quilters Guild Fantastic Quilt Show,

Nov 12, 9-5 and Nov 13, 9-4

The show this year has a new venue! It is being held at the Venetian Center, 1 Dozier Circle, Leesburg, Fl.  

The center is a lovely facility right on Lake Harris in the Venetian Gardens. It is easily accessible from Dixie Ave.  

We have lots of quilts entered in this fully judged show.  As usual, we will have our boutique, door prizes, opportunity quilt, demos and lots of vendors. Lunches will be available for purchase as well as snacks. Entry is $10.

Groups are welcome. If bringing a group, please contact quiltshowchair@lakequiltguild.com so that we can have your entry packets ready to expedite your admission to the show.

 QUILT SHOW IN TAMPA BAY

  “Rock Around the Block” presented by Quilters’ Workshop Tampa Bay

Join the members of Quilters’ Workshop Tampa Bay, November 12-13, 2021!

We will be hosting our show at the Salvation Army Center, 1100 W. Sligh Ave, Tampa, 33604. The show will be open 9-5 on Friday and 9-4 on Saturday.

There will be many quilts to view, admire and inspire. The boutique had so many items, donated from many sources, the committee had to stop accepting additional items.  There will be vendors, a Basket Walk and a Charity Mini-quilt and Block Auction. Take time to rest over lunch provided by the cafe each day.

Just so much to do in only two days! Admission is $10 and parking is free.

Linda will be teaching her unique technique. An opportunity to learn from a National, Certified Teacher. Her kit includes (along with the Pattern) acrylic templates, foundation paper, a stencil for the paper and future uses.

Anyone who has taken or purchase classes or patterns requiring templates know that the cost to us is appropriate.

Nice way to end 2021!!!!
