Quilting
Friends,
Here’s a project I finished recently, I swear
its just a duffle bag but it took as much time as an easy quilt…maybe
more! But those byAnnie patterns sure
are well written! Learn more about the duffle by watching my latest
online TT&T event.
If you are wanting to donate a quilt or two to
Ukrainian refuges, skip to the bottom of this newsletter. The need is so great for Ukraine, and we
believe the people of the region will need donations for some time.
Are you a quilting teacher in Florida? I’ve had several guilds ask me for ideas for
programs, teachers who don’t need to fly to travel. Shoot
me an email for a future list.
You may have caught me on my online “Tips, Tools &
Techniques Club” LIVE event, part lecture, part discussion….lots of free info
about quilting, sewing, serging and embroidery!
Anyway, I have spent some time
this month creating a list of all my topics from the past 21 months, and I
thought I’d share that list with you.
Hopefully this makes it a little easier to go straight to a particular
topic within the online presentations. Click here to go to the list.
You may not know that the Calendar page on the website is a quick way to view upcoming events all over the state. Give it a look-see.
Happy Quilting,
Mary-Jeanine
PS: I’d love to hear from you,
so drop me a line sometime.

QUILTS
FOR UKRAINE
Terry
Burtchell, QOVF FL State Coordinator is partnering with World Vision to get quilts
to the Ukrainian Refugees. There is a great need for warm quilts for children
& women. World Vision works with 5 Organizations to help in crisis,
including Convoy of Hope and Samaritan’s Purse. Convoy of Hope will make a pick
up stop here in Port Orange and transfer to NC where Samaritan’s Purse is
making flights into World Vision base in Romania.
There
is no money involved with shipping just wonderful non-profit organizations
willing to help the people of Ukraine. The need is warm quilts.
