Florida
Quilt Network
- Newsletter #36
January 18, 2001
Quilting Friends,
-- Please forgive my
error in the last newsletter. We have
(at least!) two talented Carols in Florida, Carol Henry who lives Ocala
<chenry@atlantic.net> and Carol Meyer who lives in New Mexico and also
Florida <redhousenm@yahoo.com>. I
incorrectly wrote that Carol Henry would not be teaching in 2001, that whole
statement should have been attributed to Carol Meyer. Here is the corrected text, and I apologize for any
misunderstandings to both Carols!
A MESSAGE FROM CAROL MEYER
I am taking next year (2001) off from teaching. I had been very ill in late 1999 and so much
of my work fell behind. I am trying to catch up this year and in 2001. I am now
scheduling for 2002. If any groups are interested in Classes/ Programs for 2002
my email address is <redhousenm@yahoo.com>.
--- I have reached a
great milestone, I just added my 500th reader! I’m glad so many quilters are able to
communicate via FQN.
--- Since this is a shorter newsletter than usual, I thought
I’d recap all the quilt shows happening this month. Look for them at the end of the newsletter.
--- Here are some websites of interest:

- Pat has kindly put all the information from my last newsletter on
her Florida Quilts! Website, so if you lose this email, you can bookmark her
website and keep up with everything.
(Kinda takes the pressure off me to finish my website…I’d rather be
quilting!!)
