Quilting Friends,

Again, I’m walking out the door for another family trip…this time to Iceland. My husband’s mom was born and raised there. Its time our kids discovered the beauty and uniqueness of their grandmother’s homeland. My 8 year old daughter just came in the room to tell me she won’t need to pack pajamas because she’ll only be sleeping ½ hour each night! I guess she got confused when I told her there would only be ½ hour of darkness each night.

QUILT SHOW IN CLEARWATER

Quilters' Crossing is going to have a wonderful quilt show on Saturday,

November 13 and Sunday, November 14 at the Countryside Recreation

Center. The admission is $5.00 and there will be a handcrafted

boutique, demonstrations, wearable art on display, a small quilt

auction, a Merchant Mall and door prizes. We will also have two hand

made quilts by Rosella Inman to be raffled off. The donations will

benefit the Dunedin Fine Art Center. All the members of the guild have

been working on the boutique and there will be many varied items to

purchase.
