Pudding with Bourbon Sauce
1 CHALLAH BREAD, sliced (can also use raisin bread or another light bread)
5 eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
3 cups milk or half and half
2 tsp coconut
2 tbsp raisins
SAUCE
1 stick butter
4 oz heavy cream
1 c powdered sugar
1 TBsp BOURBON or vanilla
Instructions:
Break up bread into a GREASED 2qt pan. Mix in the raisins and coconut.
Whisk eggs in a medium mixing bowl and add sugar, milk.
Pour liquids into the pan filled with bread and bake for 50 minutes at 325
For the sauce, combine all ingredients in a saucepan, heat and serve over
pudding.
