Quilting Friends,

Years ago I started making T-shirt quilts a different way than most…I fuse/appliqued the shirt fronts onto a simple quilt top.  No sewing until FMQ and binding.    The beauty of this method is that ANY size shirt works, even rounded cut shirts work.  The quilt shown here is one I made as a class sample. Yep, it’s a class (that just finished but I’ll be teaching it again in August).   If you’re wanting more info now, watch my TT&T Club on YouTube from this month.

I’ve been busy in the last month teaching and lecturing in different corners of Florida, but my calendar is opening up now. I’d love to come visit your guild or group to share lots of new Stashbusting inspiration!  Ask your guild’s program chair to check out my offerings and send me an email to set up a visit to your guild.  My goal for each visit is to inspire you to dive into that beautiful stash and make something beautiful.  Often I’m told “this was the best program our guild has had in years”.  I love that!

If you are in Central Florida and work with fur and/or make plush bears, my friend Dorene has several bins of FREE fur and bear parts she’s looking to re-home.  Send her an email please.

I realized recently that I hadn’t added any quilts to my Gallery in 6 years (!), so I’ve been slowly adding quilts to that page.  It’s not every quilt I’ve made but all my favorites are there!

PS: if you're in the market for a machine but the two highlighted below don't work for you, keep reading for the "Still Available" section, where I quick-list previous ads.

Happy Quilting,

 Mary-Jeanine

PS: I’d love to hear from you, so drop me a line sometime.

FROM A READER:

I'm helping a neighbor clean out the house, we found this frame and don't want to throw it out.

I was wondering if anyone is interested in the frame, for free.  They just need to come pick it up.   College Park area.
